Major home games await Hawks this week

Brian Hawthorne ranks third in the GLVC in steals

The conference race heats up this week as the Rockhurst men play Indianapolis on Thursday (7:30 p.m.) and Lewis on Saturday (2 p.m.) at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Sophomore forward Timaris Brown scored 28 points at Drury on Saturday and is averaging 18.6 points in his last five games for the Hawks (6-7, 2-3 GLVC).

Indianapolis (9-4, 5-0 GLVC) is riding a seven-game winning streak. Senior guard Jesse Bingham is the Greyhounds' leading scorer (15.3 pg).

Lewis (7-6, 3-2 GLVC) is coming off an 80-70 loss to Upper Iowa on Saturday. Junior guard Beau Frericks leads the Flyers with a 16.3 scoring average.
