Women's Volleyball travels to south Florida

The Hawks take a 4-0 record into Florida event.

The Rockhurst volleyball team travels to south Florida this weekend to play in the Hyatt Place Bash at the Beach. The Hawks (4-0) open the tournament against Lynn University (3-2) on Friday at 7 p.m. ET in Boca Raton, Florida.

The Hawks kicked off the season with four victories in the Kansas City Classic last weekend, including a 3-2 win over nationally-ranked Northwest Missouri State. Sophomore outside hitter Sarah Pyle led the team with 3.50 digs per set and was named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week.

Rockhurst will wrap action in the Hyatt Place Bash at the Beach on Saturday against Nova Southeastern (3-0) at 10 a.m. and Palm Beach Atlantic (4-0) at 4 p.m. in West Palm Beach, Florida.
