Women's Lacrosse places two on Academic All-America team

Women's Lacrosse earns two Academic All-Americans.
Rockhurst's Christine Corbin and Sydney Shindler received 2023 Academic All-America® Division II Women's At-Large accolades, as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

Corbin, a Second Team Academic All-American selection, finished the season with 22 goals and 64 draw controls. The Naperville, Illinois native graduated with a 4.0 grade point average in Business Administration.

Shindler, a Third Team Academic All-American selection, led the Hawks with 102 saves and 38 ground balls. The League City, Texas native graduated with a 3.99 grade point average in Biochemistry & Physics of Medicine.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Division II Academic All-America® program.
