Women's Lacrosse earns six All-GLVC honors

Mackenzie Blair is three-time All-GLVC honoree.

Six Rockhurst women's lacrosse players received honors in the Great Lakes Valley Conference's Women's Lacrosse awards release on Friday.

Blair was named to the All-GLVC First Team for the second year in a row and earned her third All-GLVC honor. The senior midfielder from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia led the team in draw controls and caused turnovers, and ranked second in ground balls.

Joining Blair on the first team from Rockhurst are senior draw specialist Christine Corbin and senior defender Audrey Titzer. Senior attacker Logan Derosia was named to the All-GLVC Second Team. Derosia led the Hawks with 45 goals and 56 points. Senior attacker Dani Mabry and senior goalie Sydney Shindler received All-GLVC honorable mention recognition.

Rockhurst earned the sport's GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Team Award along with Quincy. Mabry is RU's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship individual nominees. These individuals must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. Mabry is now eligible to become one of RU's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.
