Hawks place ninth at NSIC Preview Invitational

Ben Elgas shot a 75 in the final round.

The Rockhurst men's golf team finished in ninth place at the NSIC Preview Invitational Tuesday at the Adams Pointe Golf Course in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Rockhurst shot a 309 team score in the second round to finish two shots ahead of Sioux Falls and Minnesota State Mankato with a 613 team score.

David Schilp and Ben Elgas tied for 25th place individually with a 36-hole score of 152 on the par-72 course.

Mike Wolski and Mac Piles tied for 43rd place at 154 score. Elijah Shirley, Kaleb Fullerton and Joseph Fallis tied for 65th at 157.
