The Rockhurst men's golf team sits in 14th place after the first day of the NCAA Men's Golf Central/Midwest Regional Thursday at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan. The Hawks shot a 13-over par 301 in the first round.

Adam Challoner is tied for 10th place to lead Rockhurst with a one-under-par 71 after 18 holes. He shot a 35 on the front nine and a 36 on the back nine. Challoner made five birdies and 10 pars.

Mike Wolski is tied for 43rd place at 75 and Bryce Renz is tied for 51st at 76. Ashton Vinton is tied for 84th at 79 and Kingston Solomon is tied for 103rd at 82.
