Kingston Solomon tied for 25th place to lead the Hawks

Men tie for ninth at NCAA Regional in Michigan

The Rockhurst men's golf team finished in a tie for ninth place after the final round of the NCAA Men's Golf Central/Midwest Regional Saturday at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan.

Rockhurst shot a three-over par 291 in the third round to post a 54-hole team score of 888. The Hawks shot a 301 in Thursday's first round and a 296 in Friday's second round.

Kingston Solomon tied for 25th place to lead the Hawks. He shot a four-under 68 in the third round to finish with a 220 score for 54 holes. Solomon shot a 32 on the front nine and a 36 on the back nine. He made six birdies, one eagle (on the 15th hole) and seven pars.

Mike Wolski shot an even-par 72 to finish in a tie for 33rd place with a 222 score. Wolski made seven birdies and five pars in the third round.

Adam Challoner tied for 39th place at 223, Bryce Renz tied for 77th at 230 and Ashton Vinton tied for 91st at 236.
