Men place three on Academic All-District Team

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.

The Rockhurst men's basketball team placed a program-high three student-athletes on the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team.

Nick Arensberg, Jake Auer and Rron Thaci earned their first Academic All-District® honor.

Arensberg, a junior from Leawood, Kansas, averaged 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds while starting 19 games.

A junior guard from Clive, Iowa, Auer ranks 12th in the GLVC in 3-point field goals made (2.0 pg) while averaging 10.1 points per game.

Thaci, a sophomore forward from Chicago, Illinois, averaged 3.1 points per game coming off the bench.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March.
