Conference race heats up with Hawks headed to Illinois

The Hawks are in fourth place in the GLVC Point Rating System.
The Rockhurst Hawks head out on the road for the final time this season with conference games at Illinois Springfield on Thursday night (7:30) and at Lewis on Saturday afternoon (3:00).

The Hawks (13-11, 8-8 GLVC) are currently sitting in fourth place in the GLVC Point Rating System with four games left in the regular season. Junior forward Rich Byhre ranks first in scoring (18.1 pg) and second in rebounding (8.5 pg) in the GLVC.

Illinois Springfield (15-9, 9-7 GLVC) has won three of its last four games. Sophomore forward Jack Weber leads the Prairie Stars in scoring (13.8 pg) and rebounding (6.4 pg).

Lewis (8-16, 3-13 GLVC) has dropped its last five games. Junior guard Beau Frericks ranks seventh in scoring in the GLVC (16.5 pg).
