Rockhurst hosts 11-0 Moundbuilders

Brian Hawthorne leads the Hawks in assists and steals
The Rockhurst men return from the Christmas break to face one of the top teams in the NAIA. The Hawks host the unbeaten Southwestern College Moundbuilders at 5:15 p.m. Friday.

Timaris Brown leads the 5-5 Hawks in scoring (12.8 pg) and rebounding (5.8 pg). Freshman Brian Hawthorne is the team leader in assists (36) and steals (18).

Southwestern (11-0) is ranked sixth in the latest NAIA Top 25 national poll. The Moundbuilders rank ninth in the country in scoring (91.1). Senior guard Cevin Clark is the NAIA's second leading scorer at 26.9 points per game.
