Hawks return home to host rival Cardinals

Rockhurst and William Jewell meet for the second time this season in the Kansas City Crown rivalry, sponsored by Mammoth Sports Construction. The Hawks and Cardinals tip off at 7:30 tonight at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Jewell won the first meeting on its home floor in December to cut Rockhurst's lead to 5-2 in the KC Crown point standings.

The Hawks (10-6, 5-3 GLVC) rebounded from a loss at Quincy to post an 88-71 win at Truman State Saturday afternoon. Freshman forward Timaris Brown led the Rockhurst attack with 30 points and 16 rebounds.

The Cardinals (5-3, 8-8 GLVC) have won five of their last seven games. Junior guard Jordan Jermain leads Jewell in scoring (15.4 pg, seventh in the GLVC).
