Gilliland wins individual title at RU Fall Invitational

Caleb Gilliland was the individual medalist at the RU Fall Invitational.
The Rockhurst men's golf team finished in second place and Caleb Gilliland was the individual medalist at the Rockhurst Fall Invitational Thursday at the Swope Memorial Golf Course in Kansas City, Missouri.

Gilliland shot a 69 in both rounds to post a 138 score for 36 holes. The Hawks shot a 587 for 36 holes to finish five shots ahead of William Jewell.

Mike Wolski finished in third place with a 142 score. Caleb Schmid and Andrew Park tied for fourth at 143. Elijah Shirley shot a 66 in the second round to finish sixth at 144. Shirley's 66 was one shot shy of the school record for 18 holes.

David Schilp and Aidan Wells tied for 11th. Drake Sawyer, Kaleb Fullerton, Cooper Stiles and Will Bikulcius also finished in the top 20 for the Hawks.
