Hawks induct new class of 48 into Chi Alpha Sigma

The 10th Chi Alpha Sigma class at RU features 48 graduating seniors.
Rockhurst University recently inducted 48 new members to the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society.

This honor society motivates student-athletes who maintain a 3.4 cumulative grade point average to put just as much determination and energy into their studies as they put into their sports. It also allows graduating seniors to be recognized for their accomplishments at the commencement ceremony, similar to other honor societies on campus.

"Being inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society is a tremendous honor. Receiving this recognition is a reflection of the dedication and work ethic of our student-athletes," said Kathy Strecker, Assistant Athletic Director, Senior Woman Administrator and Cross Country Head Coach.
