Brugman leads Hawks to fourth place in Illinois

Luke Brugman tie for fourth place to lead the Rockhurst men.

Luke Brugman tied for fourth place to lead the Rockhurst men's golf team to a fourth place finish at the Dan Salisbury Memorial Tuesday at the Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois. Brugman shot a 72 in the second round after opening with a 73 in the first round.

Rockhurst fired a 299 team score in the second round to finish with a 593 team score. The Hawks fell two spots after shooting a 294 in the first round.

Jack Junge and Brett Blau both tied for 12th place individually with a 36-hole score of 148. Elijah Shirley finished 23rd at 151 and Ben Elgas tied for 24th at 152. Caleb Schmid tied for 41st place at 161.
