Hawks face Lindenwood in GLVC Women's Lacrosse Tournament

The Hawks are the No. 3 seed in the GLVC Tournament.
Rockhurst will be making its second consecutive appearance in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament.

The Hawks will meet Lindenwood at 1 p.m. Friday (Kansas City time) in Indianapolis in the second semifinal game. The two teams met April 16 in Kansas City with Lindenwood coming out on top, 20-10.

Seventh-ranked Lindenwood (13-3, 6-1 GLVC) earned the No. 2 seed, while Rockhurst (10-6, 5-2 GLVC) is the No. 3 seed.

Third-ranked Indianapolis (16-1, 7-0 GLVC) secured the regular season championship and No. 1 seed for the tournament. The Greyhounds will host the event as the top seed and face fourth-seeded McKendree (8-8, 4-3 GLVC) on Friday at 10 a.m. in the first semifinal. The two teams met on Sunday in the regular season finale with UIndy winning on the road, 17-2.

UIndy won the inaugural GLVC Championship Tournament in 2021 during the sport's second year of league sponsorship after the first season was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Championship game will take place on Sunday at 10 a.m.
