Jack Junge birdied the final hole to win medalist honors at the Rockhurst Spring Invitational Tuesday at the Swope Memorial Golf Course in Kansas City, Missouri.
Junge made a two-foot birdie putt on the par-five ninth hole to finish with a 71 in the final round after shooting a 70 in the first round.
The Hawks finished second in the team standings with a 594 score over 36 holes. Lindenwood won the team title with a 585 team score.
Caleb Schmid came in fourth place with a 146 (71-75) and
Brett Blau placed sixth at 150 (77-73).
David Schilp and
Elijah Shirley tied for 14th at 156, while
Luke Brugman tied for 18th at 157.
