Men return to Mason-Halpin this weekend

The Hawks have a 9-5 record at home this season.
The Rockhurst men hope returning home to Mason-Halpin Field House will be the perfect tonic. The Hawks have a 9-5 record at Mason-Halpin after winning their last four games at home.

Rockhurst hosts the Lewis Flyers tonight at 7:30 on Alumni Night at the Ball Game. The Hawks (10-14, 5-9 GLVC) are coming off three losses on the road over the past seven days.

RU's Nick Volz, Jake Auer and Rich Byhre continue to rank among the league leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists, 3-point field goal shooting and free-throw shooting.

Lewis has a 10-2 record after opening the season with five losses. The Flyers (10-7, 8-2 GLVC) are led by senior forward Connor Niego, who ranks eighth in scoring (15.6 pg) and fourth in rebounding (7.4 pg) in the GLVC.

Rockhurst faces Indianapolis at home on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Greyhounds (12-7, 6-5 GLVC) have lost four of their last six games. Junior guard Corey Miller Jr. leads Indy with a 15.9 scoring average.
