Reilly, Hines named Academic All-Americans

Maureen Reilly and Kenzie Hines are the fifth and sixth student-athletes in program history to be named Academic All-Americans.
Rockhurst volleyball players Maureen Reilly and Kenzie Hines received Division II Academic All-America honors on Wednesday (Dec. 21), as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

Reilly and Hines become just the fifth and sixth student-athletes in program history to be named Academic All-Americans, joining Kecia Jennings (2004 and 2005), Whitney Kostal (2015), Karli Reichert (2019) and Audrey Arand (2020).

A biochemistry major with a 4.0 GPA, Reilly was an All-GLVC First Team honoree and was named the GLVC Libero of the Year. She led the GLVC and ranked fifth in the country in digs per set.

Hines, a junior outside hitter from Nixa, Missouri, carries a 4.0 GPA in business administration and accounting. Hines, an All-GLVC First Team honoree, ranked seventh in kills and points in the GLVC.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Division II Academic All-America® program.
