Hawks face road test at Missouri Western

The Hawks meet an MIAA team for the third time this season.
The Rockhurst men travel to Missouri Western tonight (7:00) coming off a 79-70 win over Washburn.

Rich Byhre was named the GLVC Player of the Week after leading the 2-2 Hawks to a 79-70 win over Washburn last Friday. Byhre is the GLVC co-leader in rebounding (11.3 pg) and ranks second in scoring (19.3 pg) in the conference.

Missouri Western (1-2) has dropped its last two games after opening the season with an 81-76 overtime win over Minnesota Crookston on Nov. 11. Sophomore guard Julius Dixon leads the Griffons in scoring (15.0 pg) and rebounding (7.7 pg).

Rockhurst begins conference play on Monday (Nov. 28) against Maryville. The Hawks end the calendar year with six games in December.
