Hawks tip off season at Saint Louis on Oct. 26

Rockhurst will host 10 GLVC games and eight non-conference contests.
Rockhurst will tip off the 2021-22 men's basketball season with an exhibition game at Saint Louis University at 7 p.m. on October 26.

"This will be a great opportunity for us to play against super athleticism and coaching," said Rockhurst coach Drew Diener. "With the strength of our regular season schedule, this opportunity will be very beneficial to us. I know we have a great alumni base in St. Louis and I hope they will come out to watch the team and support our guys."

The Hawks' 2021-22 schedule features 20 conference games and 10 non-conference games. Rockhurst will host 10 Great Lakes Valley Conference games and eight non-conference contests.

Rockhurst will open the regular season with a pair of games in the National Hall of Fame Classic in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Hawks meet Saint Thomas Aquinas at 3:15 p.m. on November 6, followed on November 7 at 1 p.m. against Northern State.

The Hawks will host the GLIAC/GLVC Challenge on November 12-13. Rockhurst faces Davenport on the first day at 7 p.m. and Purdue Northwest on day two at 3 p.m.

Great Lakes Valley Conference play begins December 2 when Rockhurst hosts Southwest Baptist. The Hawks will close out their non-conference schedule at home against Avila on December 18.

Conference action resumes January 2 when Rockhurst will host Missouri S&T. The Hawks host five conference games in January and four league games in February. Rockhurst closes out the regular season at home vs. Truman State on February 26.

The 2022 GLVC Tournament will be played at the Vadalabene Center in Edwardsville, Illinois, March 3-6.
