Lewis named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Curtis Lewis was a Second Team All-GLVC selection.

Rockhurst's Curtis Lewis has been named to the Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA).

The award is the second Academic All-District honor for Lewis, who is a Business Administration major with a 3.64 grade point average.

Lewis was a Second Team All-GLVC selection. The senior guard from Kansas City, Missouri finished 19th in scoring (13.2 per game) in the conference. Lewis holds the school record for career assists (383) and ranks eighth in career scoring with 1,598 points.

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late May.
