Hawks earn two All-Region selections

Jack Eisenbarger and Tyler Stamer led the Hawks to 23 wins in 2021.
Rockhurst had two players earn Division II All-Region baseball honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America, the D2 Conference Commissioner's Association and the American Baseball Coaches Association.

Senior pitcher Jack Eisenbarger and senior outfielder Tyler Stamer both earned Second Team All-Region honors.

Eisenbarger finished the season with a 9-2 record and a 3.14 ERA in 12 starts. The senior left-hander struck out 102 batters in 77.1 innings and held opposing hitters to a .241 batting average while tossing seven complete games. He allowed a season-low two hits in a seven-inning shutout win over McKendree on March 16.

Stamer led the Hawks with a .383 batting average, seven home runs, 12 doubles and 27 RBIs. He finished the season with 17 hits in his final 34 at-bats including a four-hit game against Truman State on May 2. Stamer posted 14 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games.

Rockhurst finished the season with a record of 23-19 and advanced to the GLVC Tournament for the seventh time in school history.
