Blair headline Hawks' all-conference honorees

Mackenzie Blair (18) was named to the All-GLVC Second Team.

Mackenzie Blair headlined five Rockhurst women's lacrosse players honored in the Great Lakes Valley Conference's awards release Friday.

Blair was named Second Team All-GLVC. The sophomore defender from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia has started all 12 games this season. She leads the Hawks in ground balls and draw controls, and is the team co-leader in caused turnovers.

Senior midfielder Marianna Anderson, junior defender Madison Cook, sophomore attacker Danielle Mabry and sophomore goalie Sydney Shindler received All-GLVC honorable mentions.

The Hawks (6-6) travel to Lebanon, Illinois for the GLVC Tournament and a semifinal matchup with Indianapolis Friday at 4:00 p.m.
