Seniors carry Hawks to 22-4 win over Quincy

Five seniors played their final home game on Friday, from left: Helen Krause, Olivia Collier, Kate McDonald, Emelia Boillat and Marianna Anderson.

Seniors Helen Krause and Marianna Anderson combined for 12 points to lead Rockhurst to a 22-4 victory over Quincy Friday on Senior Day at RU's Bourke Field.

Krause and Anderson each scored three goals in the first half as the Hawks went into halftime with a 13-3 lead. Rockhurst scored nine extra-attacker goals in the second half with a running clock.

Krause led the Hawks with four goals and four assists. Anderson scored four goals on four shots. Jaeden Washbusch posted three goals and two assists. Danielle Mabry tallied three goals and one assist. Mackenzie Blair collected three goals and five ground balls.

Olivia Collier finished with four ground balls, four caused turnovers, one goal and one assist. Catey Roux tacked on three ground balls, three caused turnovers, two goals and one assist. Madison Cook added four draw controls.

Senior Kate McDonald and Madeline Morrison combined for six saves and four ground balls.

The Hawks (5-6) close out the regular season at Maryville on Sunday.
