Brugman leads Hawks at NSIC Preview

Luke Brugman led the Hawks with a 159 score over 36 holes.
The Rockhurst men's golf team finished in 20th place at the NSIC Preview Invitational Tuesday at the Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Hawks shot a 326 in the first round and a 327 in the second round to finish with a two-day total of 653. Central Missouri won the team title with a 591 team score.

Luke Brugman led the Hawks with a 159 score over 36 holes and finished in a tie for 56th place. He opened with a 78 and shot an 81 on day two.

Jack Junge and Cooper Stiles both tied for 79th place with a 162 score. Junge shot 79 and 83, while Stiles went 86 and 76. Brett Blau tied for 72nd as an individual with a 161 (80-81).
