Hawks face tough tests away from home

Getting back on the road might be the right medicine for the Rockhurst men, who are coming off three consecutive losses at home over the past week.

The Hawks, who have a 4-3 record away from home, face road tests at Indianapolis on Thursday (7:30 p.m. EST) and at Lewis on Saturday (3 p.m.).

Rockhurst, 8-9, is maintaining its fifth place standing in the GLVC Point Rating System, which decides the top eight teams for the GLVC Tournament.

Senior guard Curtis Lewis leads the team in scoring (13.6 pg) and ranks ninth in school history with 1,538 career points.

Indianapolis, 6-9, has won six of its last eight games after opening the season with seven losses. Senior guard Dee Montgomery ranks 15th in scoring (14.6 pg) and second in 3-point field goals made (3.0 pg).

Lewis, 7-8, has lost six of its last seven games. Senior guard Trevian Bell leads the Flyers in scoring (12.1 pg).
