Reilly selected to Academic All-District team

Maureen Reilly is a biology major with a 4.0 GPA.

Rockhurst sophomore libero Maureen Reilly was selected to the 2021 Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

A biology major, Reilly boasts a 4.0 grade-point average and was one of four student-athletes from the Great Lakes Valley Conference to earn academic all-district accolades.

Reilly currently ranks third in GLVC with 542 digs and 4.84 digs per set. She was named to the All-GLVC Second Team and earned GLVC Defensive Player of the Year honors twice this year.

The Overland Park, Kansas native posted a season-high 35 digs in a 3-2 win at Indianapolis on October 29.

First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in mid-December.
