The Rockhurst Hawks renew their local rivalry with William Jewell on Tuesday (5:30 p.m.) at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks have a four-game winning streak over the Cardinals and lead the all-time series, 86-65. Rockhurst won the last meeting, 95-72, last year at Mason-Halpin.

Rockhurst, 4-6, hopes to rebound from a pair of losses last week to Southwest Baptist and Drury. The Hawks are currently in ninth place in the GLVC Point Rating System, which decides the top eight teams for the GLVC Tournament.

Senior guard Curtis Lewis leads the Hawks in scoring (13.0 pg) and assists (2.8 pg). Junior forward Nick Volz ranks sixth in rebounding (6.7 pg) and 10th in field goal percentage (55.4) in the GLVC.

Lewis stands 11th in NCAA Division II and 10th in school history with 1,437 points. Volz has compiled 709 points and 432 rebounds in his college career.

Jewell, 1-8, is coming off a 68-66 loss at Missouri S&T on Saturday. Senior forward Eysan Wiley ranks first in blocked shots (1.9 pg), 13th in scoring (15.9 pg) and 14th in rebounding (6.1 pg) in the GLVC.

The game will be live streamed on glvcsn.com with live stats available on rockhursthawks.com.
