Mark receives second Academic All-America® honor

Nathan Mark has a .300 career batting average with eight home runs and 71 RBIs.
For the second consecutive year, Rockhurst's Nathan Mark has been named to the CoSIDA Division II Baseball Academic All-America® team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Mark earned one of the four infield spots on the D2 Academic All-America® second team. The junior third baseman has a 3.98 cumulative GPA and is majoring in History, Political Science and Theology.

Despite the cancellation of spring competition during COVID-19, CoSIDA continued its sponsorship of the Academic All-America awards program. Student-athletes were selected based on career statistics.

Mark started all 17 games at third base in 2020. He led the team with three home runs and 20 RBIs. He has a .300 career batting average with eight home runs and 71 RBIs. He was named to the D2 Academic All-America® first team as a designated hitter in 2019.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2019-20 Division II Academic All-America® teams program.
