GLVC recognizes Duff as Spalding Sportsmanship honoree

Senior goalie Emily Duff (24) has been recognized by the Great Lakes Valley Conference in the sport of women’s lacrosse as an honoree of the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.
Rockhurst senior goalie Emily Duff has been recognized by the Great Lakes Valley Conference in the sport of women's lacrosse as an honoree of the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.

The representatives from 16 GLVC schools were chosen by their respective coaches to have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior this season.
 
These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.
 
Duff led the Hawks with 56 saves and 30 ground balls while posting a 4-4 record as the starting goalie. She has posted 78 saves and 42 ground balls over the last four years.
 
Duff is now eligible to become one of RU's two overall James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced on Monday, May 18.
