Rockhurst faces tough games this week

The Rockhurst Hawks face two of their toughest games this week at Mason-Halpin Field House. Indianapolis is the opponent on Alumni Night (Thursday, 7:30 p.m.) and eighth-ranked Bellarmine makes its final appearance at Rockhurst on Saturday (3:00 p.m.).

The Hawks (13-7, 9-3 GLVC) have won five of their last six games and are currently in sixth place in the GLVC Point Rating System. Rockhurst ranks sixth in scoring margin (plus-7.3) in the GLVC.

Curtis Lewis and Quinton Curry rank seventh (17.3 pg) and 14th (15.1 pg) in scoring in the GLVC. Lewis and Curry have combined to score 2,279 points at Rockhurst.

Indianapolis (15-5, 7-5 GLVC) ranks second in scoring offense (82.3 pg) and fifth in scoring margin (plus-9.1 pg) in the GLVC. Trevor Lakes ranks 12th in scoring (15.3 pg) and 15th in rebounding (6.0 pg) in the GLVC.

The Greyhounds have won eight of the last nine meetings against Rockhurst and leads the all-time series, 9-5.

Bellarmine (16-3, 9-3 GLVC) ranks second in scoring defense (62.6 pg) and first in scoring margin (plus-16.0 pg) in the GLVC. Alex Cook ranks ninth in scoring (16.2 pg) and 13th in rebounding (6.2 pg) in the GLVC.
