Rockhurst edges Park by one shot to capture team title

The Rockhurst men's golf team edged Park by one shot to capture the team title at the Virginia McCoy Park Fall Invitational Tuesday at the Tiffany Greens Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Hawks shot a 307 in the second round to finish with a two-day total of 631.

Luke Brugman shot a 76 in the second round to finish in second place individually with a 150. He birdied his final hole on the par-five ninth hole to secure the team victory.

Brett Blau finished in fourth place after carding a 76 to finish with a 157 total. Jack Junge also shot a final round 76 to tie for fifth with a 160 score.

Nick Caldwell tied for eighth at 161 after shooting an 80. Andrew Park tied for 11th place at 162 by shooting a second-round 78. Daven Bhagar (163) and Mac Piles (164) also finished in the top 15 individually.
