Hawks sign guard from Creighton Prep

Thomas Faber averaged 14 points per game last season at Creighton Prep.
Head coach Drew Diener announced the addition of Thomas Faber of Omaha, Nebraska on Monday (May 6). The 6-3 guard is the third addition to the 2019-20 class.

Faber played at Creighton Prep High School. He helped lead Creighton Prep to a 22-5 record while averaging 14 points, three assists and three rebounds per game while shooting 40 percent on 3-point field goals.

"Thomas is a very skilled offensive player," said Diener. "Good things happen with the ball in his hands. He is a great passer, has a high IQ and has great size. He compliments our current team very well and makes us better. His size and skill allow him to play multiple positions.

"In addition, he is a great three-point shooter, an area we need to improve as a program moving forward. The fact that he comes from such a successful high school program is a huge plus as well."
