The Rockhurst women's lacrosse team is set to take on Colorado-Colorado Springs in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in St. Charles, Missouri.
The teams will be familiar with each other having faced off in their regular season finale last Saturday, which resulted in a 13-10 Rockhurst win at Bourke Field.
The top six teams in the RMAC qualify for the conference tournament. Rockhurst (10-7, 6-3 RMAC) earned the 4-seed, while UCCS (6-9, 4-5 RMAC) is slotted as the 5-seed. The winner of Thursday's matchup will get a crack at 1-seed Regis on Friday, who enters the postseason unscathed at 16-0 on the year, ranked third in the country.
