The Rockhurst women's lacrosse team takes on the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Saturday at noon at Bourke Field.

It is the final home game for a senior class that has helped this program quickly rise into a contender under Coach Molly McCourt just a few short years after its inception.

The Hawks enter Saturday seeking their 10th win of the season and have a chance to finish 6-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, with the only losses coming to national powers Colorado Mesa, Regis and Lindenwood.

Fourth place in the RMAC is on the line Saturday as the Mountain Lions of Colorado Springs are right behind the Hawks in the standings at 4-4 in the conference. UCCS fell to No. 8 Lindenwood in their previous game, 18-15, playing LU close just as the Hawks did last Thursday in an 11-10 loss.

Rockhurst bounced back in impressive fashion, handling Oklahoma Baptist on the road by a score of 20-2. The Hawks will look to continue that clean play on both ends of the field Saturday vs. Colorado Springs.
