Drew Diener announced the addition of Rich Byhre of Delafield, Wisconsin on Friday (April 18). The 6-8, 235-pound forward is the second addition to the 2019-20 class.
Byhre played at Waukesha Catholic Memorial High School. He suffered an injury two games into his senior year after averaging 12.5 points in his first two games. In his junior year, Byhre averaged 17.1 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 69 percent from the field and 77 at the foul line.

"Rich is a great addition to our program," said Diener. "He is a very skilled big guy who can score in many ways. His shooting ability, combined with his size, makes him unique. We are confident in his ability to shoot the three at a high level.
"He is great all-around athlete with a high motor. After suffering an injury this past season, he was and continues to be determined to get healthy, and has demonstrated great work ethic in coming back better than ever. He will fit in well with our guys on and off the court."
