Rockhurst hosts Maryville in 3-game series

The Rockhurst baseball team returns to Loyola Park after playing four games on the road. The Hawks will be hosting second-place Maryville in a three-game series beginning on Friday.

The Hawks (9-27, 5-19 GLVC) and Saints (19-17, 16-8 GLVC) play a doubleheader on Friday starting at 3 p.m. and will wrap up the series with a single game at noon Saturday.

Rockhurst is coming off a 5-4 win in 13 innings over the Saint Louis Billikens Tuesday night at SLU. The Hawks outhit the Billikens, 12-6, and scored the winning run on a bases loaded walk. Garrett McNally leads the Hawks with a .359 batting average. Nathan Mark is batting .339 with four home runs and 33 RBIs.
