Hawks open conference play at Westminster, seeking third straight win

Molly Dunham (51) has 63 saves for the Hawks this season.
The Rockhurst women's lacrosse team travels to Salt Lake City, Utah for their RMAC opener vs. Westminster College Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

The Hawks are coming off two encouraging road wins last weekend vs. nationally-ranked McKendree, 15-12, and Maryville, 15-3.

Marianna Anderson, Logan Derosia and Hannah Miller have combined for 56 goals for Coach Molly McCourt's club.

Hanna Meek leads the team in groundballs with 16. Bunga Spencer has collected 14 groundballs and caused a team-best eight turnovers. Goalkeeper Molly Dunham has racked up 63 saves in five starts.

Rockhurst was 4-5 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play last season and qualified for the RMAC tournament. The Hawks will look to get back there again this year as the journey starts on Saturday.
