Women's Lacrosse

Weekend Preview: Women's Lacrosse host Golden Bears in home opener

Hanna Meek and the Hawks have their first home game Friday at 6:00 p.m.
The Rockhurst women's lacrosse team returns home for their first game at Bourke Field this season, taking on Concordia University, St. Paul Friday at 6:00 p.m.

The Hawks are fresh off an 18-8 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic University in the final game of their Florida trip last weekend.

Hannah Miller and Marianna Anderson are currently tied for the team lead in goals scored with 12 apiece.

Goalkeeper Molly Dunham leads the Hawks in saves (44) and groundballs (12). Midfielder Maddi Scheipeter leads the team in draw controls with 15.

Men's Lacrosse

The Hawks (2-0) travel to Painesville, Ohio to take on 19th-ranked Lake Erie College Friday at 11:00 CST.  

This is one of several big non-conference road tests as Rockhurst is scheduled to take on other nationally ranked powers, including No. 4 Belmont Abbey College (March 2) and No. 3 Limestone College (March 11).

The Hawks have had home games canceled and relocated due to inclement weather, but are currently scheduled to open at Bourke Field Sunday, March 17 vs. Adams State.

Softball

Rockhurst (2-1) is in action this weekend at the Midwest Region Crossover in Westfield, Indiana.

The Hawks will play four games -- Friday at 11:00 a.m. CST vs. Tiffin University, Friday at 3:00 p.m. CST vs. Northwood University, Saturday at 10:00 a.m. CST vs. Ohio Dominican, and Saturday at 12 p.m. CST vs. Ferris State.

Baseball

Rockhurst baseball will be in Nashville this weekend for three games -- Sunday at 3:00 p.m. vs. Ashland University, Sunday at 6:00 p.m. vs. Trevecca Nazarene, and Monday at 1:00 p.m. vs. Ashland.

The Hawks home opener will be a four-game series vs. Bemidji State Saturday, March 2nd (12:00 and 3:00 p.m.) and Sunday, March 3rd (12:00 and 3:00 p.m.). 

Tennis

Rockhurst faces a busy schedule this weekend at Clayview Country Club in Liberty, Missouri.

Both the men's and women's team take on McKendree Friday at noon and Illinois Springfield Sunday at 7:00 a.m. The women have a non-conference match Saturday against Air Force.
