Prusha, Rolf named to NCAA All-Tournament Team

Rockhurst's Dani Prusha and Mary Rolf were named to the All-Tournament Team at the NCAA Division II National Championships in Denver, Colorado.

Prusha, junior setter from Papillion Nebraska, and Rolf, senior middle hitter from Bettendorf, Iowa, helped lead the Hawks to their second national semifinal appearance in the last three years.

Rockhurst defeated Carson-Newman, 3-0, in the national quarterfinals on Thursday before falling to second-ranked Nebraska-Kearney, 3-1, in the national semifinals on Friday. Kearney fell to top-ranked Cal State San Bernardino, 3-1, in the national finals on Saturday.

Prusha tallied 77 assists (11.0 per set) and 28 digs (4.0 per set) in seven sets in Denver. She finished the season with 1,563 assists and 398 digs. Prusha ranks fourth in school history in 3,378 career assists.

Rolf posted 18 kills (2.57 per set), a .350 hitting percentage and eight blocks (1.14 per set) in seven sets in Denver. She posted 306 kills and 132 blocks this season. Mary ranks eighth in career kills (1,035) and second in career blocks (469) at Rockhurst.
