Jack Junge finished in sixth place to lead the Rockhurst men's golf team to a fifth place finish at the McKendree Bearcat Intercollegiate on Tuesday at the Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Illinois.

Rockhurst shot a 299 in the first round, a 310 in the second round and a 308 in the final round.

Junge finished with a career-best 54-hole score of 218 with rounds of 71, 73 and 74.

Nick Caldwell tied for 21st place at 234 (76-78-80), one shot ahead of teammate Ben Krapfl who tied for 23rd. Brett Blau (236) and Daniel Trost (239) placed 26th and 27th.
