Hawks fall at 12th-ranked Regis, 17-7

Box Score The Regis Rangers scored eight free-position goals in posting a 17-7 victory over Rockhurst Friday in Denver, Colorado.

The 12th-ranked Lions scored four goals in the first eight minutes and took an 11-2 lead into halftime. The Hawks held Regis to six goals in the second half while scoring five goals.

Hannah Miller led the Hawks with three points on two goals and one assist. Audrey Ford posted two goals and six draw controls. Maddi Scheipeter scored two goals.

Bunga Spencer tallied three ground balls and three caused turnovers. Hanna Meek collected four ground balls, two draw controls and one caused turnover. Leena Nabulsi posted 10 saves.

The Hawks (7-6, 3-5 RMAC) return home to host Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday, April 21.
