Hawks claim 11-10 win at Colorado State-Pueblo

Box Score Rockhurst scored four unanswered goals in the second half and held on in the closing minutes to collect an 11-10 victory over Colorado State-Pueblo in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Thursday night in Pueblo, Colorado.

Shayna Stevens tallied her fourth goal of the game to give the Hawks an 11-7 lead with 6:32 left to play. Pueblo cut the Hawks' lead to one goal with one minute on the clock.

Stevens and Hannah Miller led the Hawks with four goals apiece. Lily Molina finished with two goals.

Bunga Spencer posted five ground balls, two draw controls and five caused turnovers. Audrey Ford collected five ground balls, four draw controls, one caused turnover and one goal. Hanna Meek had four ground balls, two caused turnovers and two draw controls. Leena Nabulsi tallied nine saves.

The Hawks (5-2, 2-1 RMAC) play at Adams State on Saturday.
