Rockhurst rallies for 5-4 win over Lee

Jonas Stropus won his No. 3 singles match to give Rockhurst a 5-4 win over Lee University.

The Rockhurst men's tennis team rallied to post a 5-4 victory over Lee University Tuesday night in Orlando, Florida.

The Hawks came back from a 2-1 deficit after doubles to win four of six singles matches. Jonas Stropus won a third set tie-breaker in No. 3 singles to give the Hawks the team victory.

Nicolas Riveros, Tarass Thevenaz and Patrick Cvik also won their singles matches. Julien Bermudez and Nicolas Leon teamed up to win in No. 3 doubles by an 8-6 margin.

The Hawks are now 6-2 on the season.
