The Rockhurst women's tennis team opened their Florida spring break trip with a 9-0 victory over Southwest Minnesota State Sunday in Orlando, Florida.

The Hawks swept the three doubles matches while only dropping 10 games.

Emma Persson, Anilu Barraza, Justine Berezintsev, Sara Flaxbeard and Megan Lantz each won in singles play in two sets. Samantha Czarnecki won her No. 2 singles match in a third set tie-breaker.

The win moves Rockhurst to 3-4 on the season.
