Stevens directs Hawks to 18-3 win at Adams State

Shayna Stevens led the Hawks with six unassisted goals.

Box Score Shayna Stevens scored six unassisted goals to lead Rockhurst to an 18-3 victory over Adams State in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Saturday in Alamosa, Colorado.

Stevens tallied three consecutive goals to give the Hawks a 6-2 lead midway through the first half. Rockhurst led 11-2 at halftime and scored the first four goals of the second half.

Marianna Anderson scored three goals and had four draw controls. Hannah Miller finished with two goals, two draw controls and one ground ball. Oliva Collier and Audrey Ford each had two goals and two draw controls.

Tessa Boots collected four ground balls, two caused turnover and one goal. Hanna Meek posted four draw controls, one caused turnover and one ground ball. Leena Nabulsi and Kelsey Norby combined for four saves.

The Hawks (6-2, 3-1 RMAC) return home to host Colorado Mesa on Wednesday.
