The Indianapolis Greyhounds held Rockhurst scoreless over the final two minutes to rally for 76-69 victory over the Hawks Saturday at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Greyhounds scored 10 unanswered points to overcome a 69-66 deficit with 2:18 left in the game. Indianapolis scored on two layups and six free throws over the two minutes.

"That's a tough game to swallow," said Rockhurst coach Drew Diener. "We fought really hard and we're right there. I am happy with how we competed."

The Hawks closed the first half on an 18-2 run to take a 36-30 halftime lead. Will Hrubes came off the bench to score all eight of his points in the final five minutes of the first half.

Quinton Curry and Auston Rushing each posted 15 points and seven rebounds to lead the Hawks. Curtis Lewis collected 10 points and three assists. Eddie Muench added seven points and seven assists.

Rockhurst shot 42.1 percent from the field (24 of 57) and 32.3 percent from behind the 3-point line (10 of 31). Indianapolis made 29 of 59 field goals (49.2 percent) and 11 of 26 3-pointers (42.3 percent).

The Hawks (8-6, 2-3 GLVC) play at William Jewell on Thursday.
