Hawks suffer 18-14 loss at Westminster

Box Score Westminster ended the game on a 7-3 run to post an 18-14 victory over Rockhurst in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Thursday in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Hannah Weisbrod led the Hawks with four goals and four caused turnovers. Madeline Gilstrap posted six assists. Madison Naes and Tierney Buschbacher collected three goals apiece. Shayna Stevens added two goals.

Westminster outshot Rockhurst, 32-25. Weisbrod, Naes and Buschbacher posted six shots apiece to lead the Hawks. Weisbrod, Gilstrap, Leena Nabulsi and Erin Salsich each tallied two ground balls. Nabulsi totaled nine saves.

The Hawks (7-6, 3-3 RMAC) play at Colorado Mesa on Saturday (April 8).
