Hawks fall at No. 19 Central Missouri

PJ Seufert suffered his first loss of the season.

Box Score Central Missouri posted five extra-base hits in defeating Rockhurst 8-2 Wednesday night in Warrensburg, Mo.

The 19th-ranked Mules scored three runs after two outs in the first inning to take a 3-2 lead. Rockhurst jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first on RBI singles by Henry Weiler and Alex Van Pelt.

Central Missouri posted 10 hits off six Rockhurst hurlers. PJ Seufert (1-1) took the loss. Wylson Lamb led the Hawks with two hits.

Rockhurst (16-13, 4-4 GLVC) returns home to play Missouri S&T on Saturday (April 8).
