Hawks collect 19-7 win at Oklahoma Baptist

Madeline Gilstrap scored eight points on six assists and two goals.

Box Score Hannah Weisbrod and Madeline Gilstrap combined for 13 points to lead Rockhurst to a 19-7 victory at Oklahoma Baptist Saturday in Shawnee, Okla.

Weisbrod scored three of her team-high five goals in the first half to give the Hawks a 10-4 halftime lead. Rockhurst outscored the Bison 9-3 in the second half.

Gilstrap scored eight points on six assists and two goals. Gilstrap assisted on three of Weisbrod's goals. Shayna Stevens and Tessa Boots both tallied three goals. Tierney Buschbacher added two goals and two assists.

Rockhurst outshot Oklahoma Baptist, 31-13. Weisbrod posted a team-high seven shots. Buschbacher and Stevens each had five shots. Zoe Otteman and Hanna Meek both had five ground balls. Meek also had seven caused turnovers. Leena Nabulsi posted three saves.

The Hawks (8-7, 4-3 RMAC) next play at Saint Mary on Tuesday (April 18).
